About the Creative Lofts:
Originally a Mechanics Institution the Grade II listed building dating back to 1861 is a significant part of Huddersfield’s heritage. Last occupied by the Friendly and Trades Club in the 1970’s, the building was restored and converted in 2002 into a contemporary space designed to reflect the style and nature of its new function whilst preserving its many historical features.
