Join us for our monthly Temporary Contemporary Happening event on Friday 17 May, 5 - 7.30pm in Queensgate Market. Come and meet other artists, creatives and those involved in the Temporary Contemporary initiative and be the first to see the latest exhibition in the Market Gallery space.

All welcome - Entrance via Princess Street or Peel Street. The Wrapik food stall will be open for the evening to purchase food.

The evening will feature:

Situating Practices exhibition in the gallery & stall 19 - a postgraduate research group show featuring the work of students engaged in research through practice. With thanks from Magic Rock Brewery for the preview sponsorship.

Jean McEwan - Growing Cultures: Conversations About Creativity. The Growing Cultures project invites you to imagine, dream, and talk about what tomorrow’s culture in Huddersfield could be and look like, and to develop ideas for how we grow it together.
