Open Call: Winter-Themed Musical Performance

The Northern Quarter, Huddersfield is looking for musicians to play at their winter-themed Unprecedented Event in December*.

Northern Quarter is looking for solo acts or duets to perform either one or two 45-minute sets. They want to hear from anyone with musical talent- singers, DJs, bongo players, woodwind, brass, you name it! The only musical requirement they have is that your set(s) be winter-themed, be that through lyrics, costume, or subject matter.

Your performance will be filmed by Northern Quarter’s in-house film crew on Tuesday 8th December, and then projected in 4k on a 150’’ screen, 2 weeks later, to a socially distanced audience in a historically important grassroots music venue in Huddersfield.

Northern Quarter would love to work with artists local to Huddersfield and surrounding areas, but welcome applications from further afield too.

As a safe and inclusive space, Northern Quarter welcomes applications from performers of any cultural background; people of colour, womxn/trans/non-binary performers, performers with disabilities, LGBTQ+ performers, etc. Everyone is welcome to apply.
