The Grand Northern Ukulele Festival (GNUF) returns to Huddersfield with the world's best in ukulele music as well a loads of new & exciting things taking place.  This year's festival will feature Jake Shimabukuro (considered to be the world's best ukulele player) and top British and European ukulele performers. There are new things for you to experience and take part in including singing, making and playing. There's workshops exploring instrument-making, photography, performance, singing and children's music (among many others). There are concerts, open-mic stages, a bazaar selling all manner of weird & wonderful instruments and much much more.

The festival has multiple stages, each unique (ranging from the main auditorium in the Lawrence Batley Theatre, to Vinyl Tap’s basement with others in between). There are also a number of pop-up stages & events created to give artists the freedom to take risks and to give audiences the chance to see something unexpected.
