Lunchtime Organ Concerts in Huddersfield Town Hall

Lunchtime Organ Concerts in Huddersfield Town Hall

There are just three remaining lunchtime recitals in the 2019-20 Organ Concert Season at Huddersfield Town Hall.

Kirklees Borough Organist, Gordon Stewart will be playing the magnificent Father Willis Organ at his hour-long concerts on 24 February, 9 March and 23 March. Gordon will be accompanied by Huddersfield favourite Tom Osborne, co-principal trumpet in The Hallé on 9 March.

If you have not been to one of these friendly, relaxed concerts before, do go along and give them a go – you can book tickets beforehand or pay on the door, or if you know anyone who might be interested, please spread the word!

You can make the concert even more special by going along early and enjoying a bite to eat. Competitively priced lunches, with a choice of sandwiches, soup, cakes and hot beverages, are served in the Old Court Room from 11.30am. Many regular concert-goers comment on how wonderfully sociable these daytime concerts are – the perfect way to while away an afternoon!

The concert starts at 1pm and tickets are very well priced at only £5.50. Tickets can be booked by calling the ticket hotline on 01484 225755 or by visiting the website www.kirkleestownhalls.co.uk
