Hemel Hempstead Singers Hemel Hempstead Singers

Hemel Hempstead Singers is an enthusiastic choir of around 25 voices who give concerts in the Hemel Hempstead area. The repertoire is wide-ranging, from the sixteenth century to the present day. We are a friendly informal group singing for pleasure, but aiming to achieve as high a standard as possible. We usually hold 3 concerts each year.

The choir is available for external bookings, including weddings and other functions. For further details this, please see our website (see below). We will consider singing almost anything, given sufficient notice!

We also hold social and fund raising functions such as quizzes, musical socials and garden parties.

We would welcome new members of any voice, but would be particularly interested in enquiries from tenors and basses. No audition is required.

The choir meets on Wednesdays (term time only) from 8.00pm to 10.00pm at the Friends’ Meeting House, The Alleys, off George Street, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 5ZB

There is a modest subscription payable termly. Reduced rates are available for students and jobseekers.
