Looking for funding in Kirklees?
One Community, the Kirklees Community Foundation was established in 2010 to provide funding, in the form of grants, to voluntary groups based in Kirklees. The Foundation manages a variety of funds, some focus on giving to support specific activities, (such as arts and culture), whilst others are happy to support general voluntary activity which takes places in a defined geographical area.

One Community welcomes funding applications from local non-profit groups, and have funds open throughout the year. The website: contains a full list of funds, and their specific application criteria.

Applications are made via the online application form, which is simple to complete. If you encounter any problems with the form, or have any questions, get in touch with One Community.

Funding awards range from £500 up to £10,000. Eight funds currently work together, to make grants through the ‘Kirklees Amalgamated Fund’. You can apply for up to £1,000, and applications are invited for project expenditure, equipment purchases and operating costs.

Please be aware that it can sometimes take up to 2-3 months before you receive any funding, so please schedule your project accordingly. Please note activities will not be funded retrospectively. All supporting documents must be received with your application - either by post, or attached with the online application form.
